Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England), is an English singer/songwriter. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top of her game with her electronic pop music after getting the public's attention through her hit songs "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses" in the year 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano scream, and an aptitude for writing emotional songs with positive lyrics. Much like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she is at forefront in the world of mainstream and artistic independent music.
