In August 2020 Addison Rae was named by Forbes magazine as the highest-earning TikToker worldwide. In addition, she is among the most popular users on TikTok. Addison Rae's fame on TikTok extends to other platforms such as Instagram, YouTube as well as Twitter. Her debut single, Obsessed, was released in 2021. On the release day the song ranked number four in the New Zealand Hot Singles chart.
